Learning New Styles

I have been wanting to learn how to make various types of strung pieces of jewelry. I first learnt how to do the Peyote Stitch in February. I have loved making all sorts of colorful bracelet designs with that stitch. I am now in the process of finishing my first Herringbone Twist Bracelet. It has 5 colors and and is double sided. Very fun to make but certainly does involve some amount of concentration.

I have found that I love beadweaving/stringing the most. I will alway love fancy stones but having been a quilter I find solice in the use of needle and thread.

Starting a Blog

I have had this blog page ready to go for a while. Just been afraid to write, really not knowing what to write. So, I decided that I would discuss my jewelry making. Its why I made it and what I love to do. I hope you enjoy following me.
